About Me
The music is the most important thing, but here's some further information about me and where I come from musically...
I started playing piano at the age of 7 and have nurtured my love of music ever since. Having done all the classical piano grades and music theory grades, in my late teens I started branching out into learning other styles of music that interested me. As such I have developed an eclectic taste in music along the way, and have always used that influence to broaden my horizons and to learn new things.
More than happy to play anything from Mozart to Miles Davis, from Bach to Beethoven to Bowie, from Hungarian Rhapsodies through Rhapsody in Blue to Bohemian Rhapsody - I'm confident I can be flexible and versatile enough to understand your requirements and give you the best music for your wedding, event or venue. How about something by the Cure in the style of Einaudi? The theme from Toy Story in the style of Gershwin? Hallelujah in the romantic piano style? I have performed at numerous concerts as a soloist and as accompanist to various instrumentalists and singers. During a year living in the music capital of Europe, Vienna, I was fortunate enough to play at the incredible Nightfly's cocktail bar in the centre of the city. In recent years I have added vocals to my repertoire and am always looking for new ways to expand my musical knowledge.
