What styles do you play?
I am able to cover most styles, my specialism is classical piano, but I’m more than happy to play styles such as jazz, modern classical, pop, rock, or any combination of these styles. I have even played Bollywood!
Can you play any other instruments?
Yes, I’m also able to play guitar, and I can sing along with my piano or guitar accompaniment. I was a church organist for 13 years, and can even turn my hand to mandolin, ukulele or cigarbox guitar.
What are your requirements at an event?
I require a space of 5 ft wide by 3 ft deep, in the vicinity of a electrical outlet – I bring everything else. I will play my classy white digital piano, through a powered speaker to fill the room with beautiful piano music. My set-up and set-down times are 15-30 minutes, if not less. I will make contact with the venue ahead of the event to ensure it all goes smoothly.
Do you do requests?
Yes! My strength is my flexibility, and I will happily take on new pieces or songs to make sure you get the perfect music. Whether you know exactly what you want or you need me to suggest some options and work through it with you, I’ll be happy to be on hand to come up with your perfect music for your event.
Which areas will you cover?
I live in south Birmingham, so I can easily cover Birmingham, the Black Country, Worcestershire, and surrounding counties. Depending on distances, some venues may incur a slight extra cost to cover the travel, but please ask away and we can work it out.
